More About Me
In summer of 2012 I moved to Northfield to marry my lovely wife. Later that year I had a conversation with Pete Mergens. I wanted to renew my interest in real estate by getting my Real Estate license. I had just retired from teaching in Iowa and saw an opportunity to come to Northfield, Minnesota to do just that. I chatted with Pete and it didn't take long before I realized that I wanted to help people with their housing needs. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University, I spent 13 years coaching and teaching, but before doing so I had my Real Estate license in Iowa. I was a Broker Associate for 9 years, as well as a Corporate Trainer for Century 21 of the Midwest. I was fortunate to earn awards for quite a few years in the Century 21 Corporate system, but I wanted to explore more avenues in the field of real estate. I became a mortgage loan originator with The Principal Mortgage Company. The Principal had over 300 mortgage producers, however I was honored as a TOP 40 producer while helping people with their lending needs. I did mortgage loans for 9 years. Between my wife Deanna Cross and I, we are blessed to have 2 sons, 2 daughters, 2 daughter-in-laws, 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson. I have been fortunate to work with many families to complete their real estate needs and dreams. From Montgomery to Cannon Falls, Faribault to Northfield, and any parts south of the Twin Cities, should you have a real estate need, I would love to hear from you to help fulfill your dreams.
